Liberté Grace, Founder

Liberté Grace is an award-winning Artist, Filmmaker, and Producer with multiple feature film and VR projects currently in development. She also acts as a Producer consultant on film projects by award-winning filmmakers and is a member of Screen Producers Australia. 

 

Recognised for her full-immersion art installations, film, photography, and mixed-media works produced in both Australia and the US, she has received national and international awards from major creative institutions, including; The Gallery of New South Wales, The N.S.W Ministry for the Arts, The Lloyd Rees Award, Irene Sutton Galleries, and the Victorian College of the Arts.

At the age of 21, she was the youngest artist sponsored to travel to the Antarctic as the winner of the Wallara Traveling Scholarship, awarded by the Victorian College Of The Arts, Melbourne University. In 2013, she was the recipient of the Churchie National Arts Prize for The Perfect Boy Myth Version 1 and was selected as one of the top new 25 video artists worldwide by the international panel of curators at the inaugural Arte Laguna Prize (2014), hosted at the Arsenale in Venice, Italy. The Perfect Boy Myth went on to be selected to exhibit at; Art Basel (Hong Kong), Time Square (New York), the Cannes Film Festival (France), and Roslyn Oxley9 Gallery (Sydney). Her works are held in cultural collections in Australia and Europe.

As Editor and Founder of the online platform I AM FILM, Grace has interviewed award-winning A-list film industry icons such as Jackie Chan, David Lynch, Kore-Eda Hirokazu, Kimberly Peirce, Mandy Walker, Ruben Östlund, and many other cinematic masters. Originally an innovative 1-minute industry talent discovery network, I AM FILM became responsible for the launch of 1-minute video on Instagram when the app was only a photo-sharing application.

 

Grace created Joyvolution® as a platform for independent artists creating new consciousness Film, Art, Media, and Technology innovations. Today she has multiple feature projects in development and also manages critically acclaimed Filipino auteur filmmaker, Raymund Ribay Gutierrez, who just became the first non-US member of Gold House Futures.
